Dear Santa

I have been a really good girl, and for Christmas I would like my own color printer. I am asking you now, in October (before my birthday!), because I want to make sure I am not wait-listed.
Love,
Lindsay

For all of you asking: WTF?
You know all those commercials where they say you can quickly, and cheaply, have presentations printed at Kinko's? Yeah, it's only cheap if the company is picking up the tab. Now you're probably all asking why I'm saying this, and the answer is that I had a presentation I needed to have color printed for my Visual Merchandising class, and for 14 pages and the basic spiral binding it cost me $33.98. Yeah. Why? Because a colored print is nearly $2 a pop. I'm pissed! Next time, it ain't happenin'. Good thing I'm not a heavy drinker or smoker (I'm neither, actually), otherwise I wouldn't be getting a fix anytime soon thanks to Kinko's. Kinko's = Good for presentations that are less than 5 pages, and big business.

Ah well, we live and learn...and then get Luvs!

I did say I'd try to post a What I Wore pic last week, but I couldn't get to a scanner (thank you college students who don't pay attention to the computers they are using). So I will be uploading them today. I'm kinda proud of myself. Sadly, due to not bringing my tablet with me they will be in black and white instead of color.

Also, because I need a pick me up, as well as I want to show you all the amazing city I live in, here's some architectural pictures I took last week.

I love Chicago...
