In ode to Halloween...

I love you dearly my night of fright,
I love you truly on your night of childhood delight.
Alas though my dear,
Our romance this year was not evident
or clear,
For my dog had a stroke,
and had to ignore you
as is now evident I fear.

Hope you all went hog wild and had lots of candy this year! I at least went to a party on Saturday where I was able to stay warm and look like a cute pin-up due to being a glam version of Rosie the Riveter. How was this achieved? Easy. I wore my high waisted jeans, a jean button-up shirt that I rolled to my elbows, and did pin up make-up and hair inspired by this inspiration board of mine:

Another week

Another blog entree. And it kinda makes me happy. Sadly my room doesn't make me happy. Why? Cause it looks like a bomb went off in it. Why did I neglect my room so that it could reach such a state? Truth: I have no clue. But I'm willing to bet it's cause I'm lazy...

In other news, I am now 23. Not much different than 22, except that I'm one year closer to being able to rent a car. But the "Party" (aka me, my sis, and her boyfriend getting sushi to celebrate) was all kinds of funsies!!

Mmmmm....sushi...

Other than that life has been fairly uneventful. I did finish sewing some pieces though! I made a light blue shift style dress as well as a capelet. It's kinda cute. It's for a costume I'm wearing Saturday. The party is "side kick" themed, so I'm going as Hermione Granger. The capelet is lined with some old Harry Potter fabric I had lying around. I kind like it.

So yeah... happy birthday to me and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!
